We have received the "Letter on Disclosure of Real Estate Registration Materials in accordance with Application"(Land and Resources Department Letter [2016] No. 363). After research and soliciting opinions from the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council and the Supreme People's Court, the reply is as follows:
The inquiry of real estate registration data, as well as household registration information, industrial and commercial registration data, etc., belongs to business inquiry matters in specific administrative fields. Their legal basis, handling procedures, legal consequences, etc. are different from the government information disclosure behavior adjusted by the "Regulations on Government Information Disclosure". There are fundamental differences. If the party concerned applies for such business inquiry in accordance with the "Regulations on the Disclosure of Government Information", it shall be informed to handle it in accordance with the corresponding laws and regulations.
